Michigan’s hospitality industry exists as a billion dollar industry and the state’s second largest private employer because of the dedicated individuals – scratch that, WOMEN, who decided to make this industry not just a job, but a career path. And as Michigan digs its heels in to grow in population while attracting and retaining younger generations, we all have a role to play as leaders and innovators. In this panel discussion, listen into a thoughtful and razor-sharp conversation about career decisions, lessons learned, the vision of the mitten state’s future and how we can work together to accomplish it. Because if there’s one thing we know for certain, it’s that women get stuff done.

How Does She Do It?
Norina Cadili | JW Marriott Grand Rapids
How do you do it? As women, we get asked this question a lot. The truth is, we don't always want to do it, we just do it because failing is not an option. With the growing expectations, commitments, obligations, places to be, people to talk to, events to be part of, etc., it sometimes feels like the list is never ending. While there isn't a "how to do it all" book out there perfectly written for each of us, there are ways we can show up, give grace, and have a few tips to remind us that we can do it, and we are going to conquer while looking good doing it!
