Christina Post
Christina Post is a Regional Manager for Anna’s House Restaurants, a fast-growing brunch spot with an emphasis on celebrating dietary needs such as gluten-free and vegan options. In her role, she manages 5 different multi-million dollar restaurants across Michigan.
Christina has spent 21 years learning and growing in the restaurant industry, gaining experience in concepts from steakhouses, sports bars, fine dining establishments, and breakfast spots. Over those years, she has been recognized many times for her strong leadership qualities. Most recently, she was awarded the Women in Hospitality Leadership Star Award by the Michigan Restaurant & Lodging Association.
After Christina graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor’s in Journalism, she never dreamed it would be as hard as it was to walk away from the hospitality industry. It was when she had completed an internship with a small publication that she knew her heart was in restaurants. She had fallen in love with the adrenaline of service, the opportunities to make meaningful connections with guests, the satisfaction of mentorship, and the drive to positively and systematically improve the bottom line. This passion put her on the path for a career she has never felt more fulfilled in.
Outside of work, Christina enjoys trying new food with her husband, playing board games with her 8-year-old son, and going for long walk/runs with her energetic German Shepherd. Over the last three years, she has also found a passion for boxing and has found a new level of mental and physical strength through her training sessions. Her boxing training has solidified the idea that success truly is a mindset. If you believe that you have the strength and ability to fight through your challenges, you can come out on the other side ready to fight again.
You won’t win every fight, but you will have achieved a level of success by continuing to show up for the next one, she believes.
