Sammie Lukaskiewicz

Sammie Lukaskiewicz is the Executive Director of the Manistee County Tourism Authority since July 2022. She is responsible for the promotion of tourism of Manistee County as a destination, as well as developing placemaking and destination development strategies for the community. Manistee County has seen the second-largest tourism growth in the state of Michigan under Sammie’s leadership.

Lukaskiewicz has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Texas at El Paso, and a master’s degree in management and leadership from Webster University. 
In her spare time, Sammie likes to golf, ski and float the Big Manistee River.
