Ping Ho
Ping Ho is an entrepreneur and business owner with multiple food and wine establishments in Detroit. She grew up in Singapore, where she often accompanied her grandmother to the wet market and where the direct connection between customers and local food vendors left a lasting impression. That and her upbringing around good food inspired her to launch Marrow, a restaurant and butcher shop in Detroit and 3x James Beard Foundation awards nominee. In fall 2024, Marrow will open a casual eatery and butcher shop in the suburb of Birmingham, MI.
Ping is also the owner of wine bar The Royce and a co-founder in seafood restaurant Mink. She is currently working on developing a two-story building in Detroit’s historic Eastern Market, which will house Marrow's meat processing arm Marrow Detroit Provisions, focused on value-added meat products sourced sustainably in the Great Lakes region.
Prior to being an investor and business owner, Ping was Vice President of Digital Strategy and Business Development at Warner Music Group in New York City, specializing in business innovation and startups. Ping graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Brown University and holds an M.B.A from Columbia Business School.
