Norina Cadili is the General Manager of the JW Marriott Grand Rapids, where her leadership reflects a deep commitment to excellence, resilience, and purpose. Her journey in hospitality began in 2008 as a Front Desk Agent at the very hotel she now leads. With unwavering determination, she rose through the ranks, embracing each role as an opportunity to grow, inspire, and redefine what leadership looks like in the hospitality industry.
Norina’s passion for hospitality was shaped early in life, growing up in a family-run Italian restaurant where she learned the value of hard work, connection, and service. As the daughter of a Sicilian immigrant father with traditional views, she often encountered limitations that inspired her to challenge expectations and pursue her goals with determination. That spirit continues to guide her leadership and career today. Norina holds a degree in Organizational Communications from Western Michigan University and continues to champion leadership and community engagement. She serves as President of the Grand Rapids Chapter of Women in Hospitality Leadership and sits on the advisory board of the West Michigan Sports Commission. A 2025 graduate of the Grand Rapids Chamber’s Leadership Grand Rapids program, she was named “GM to Watch” by Hospitality Magazine in 2022 and honored with the prestigious Joe Tomaselli “Hotelier of the Year” award in 2024. Outside of her professional achievements, Norina is a devoted mother of three. She finds joy in traveling with her children, cheering them on in their busy travel sports schedules, and staying actively involved in their lives. Norina’s story is one of perseverance, purpose, and breaking barriers. She continues to inspire others by showing that with grit and a positive mindset, success is not only possible—it’s inevitable. When not growing Mission Point, you can find Liz in her gardens with delphinium, dahlias, or zinnias, renovating distressed properties or reading the latest cookbook. |
